Happy Preparation Day for the weekly Shabbat!!!! May it be filled with the presence of our King as we prepare to enter into Shabbat and worship of Him!!
There is a faith that we must have to know that the One who created us knows us and understands us. As we’ve mentioned before, we are known by Him and He desires us!!! Therefore, He has given us His Spirit, in which contain the Seven Spirits of YHVH, in order to let us know how we can come and remain in His presence and in His house. He is the King and the Creator who is holy, and for that reason we must be set apart in all of our ways to come into His presence. May the verses below be a soothing deLIGHT to our soul and a source of encouragement.
Psalm 139:1-6 ~ A Psalm of David
1 O YHVH, You have searched me and known me.
2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar.
3 You scrutinize my path [the idea in the Hebrew is “You clear my path”] and my lying down, and are intimately acquainted with all my ways.
4 Even before there is a word on my tongue, behold, O YHVH, You know it all.
5 You have enclosed me behind and before, and laid Your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is too high, I cannot attain to it.
Isaiah 66:18 says, “For I know their works and their thoughts; the time is coming to gather all nations and tongues. And they shall come and see My glory.” [Do we know if we’re ready so that we will be among those who are gathered? The fruit of our obedience from a pure heart determines this.]
Hebrews 4:12-13 says, “12 For the word of Elohim is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.” [All things are known to Him.]
The Word of Elohim truly does spiritual surgery in our souls. The two verses above, from the book of Hebrews, sum it up perfectly!!
The Word:
- Is living
- Is active
- Is sharper than any two-edged sword
- It pierces deep into the unseen realm and divides soul and spirit and joints and marrow. This is an idiom that the Word does the supernatural when applied.
- It judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Therefore, when we know the Word and have to make a decision or judgment based on what IT says, then it’s not we that are judging, but the Word itself makes the judgment. We’re just coming into alignment with it.
It is by the Spirit of Knowledge that the Creator and His Word are made known to us. This is why it’s imperative that we read the Word every day and pray for understanding so that we can be all that He’s created us to be, where He’s created us to be…in His house!!
