Proverbs 22:4 says,  

​The reward of humility and the fear of YHVH are riches, honor and life.

Within David’s prayer he said in 1 Chronicles 29:12,

“Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone.

Revelation 5:11-12 says,

11 Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands,

12 saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.” [The Messiah is the personification of all of these truths because He was slain and rose again!! As we are transformed into

     His image, we can see from the verses at the beginning of this deLIGHT that YHVH intends His wisdom, power, honor and life, just to name a few, to be given to His people.]

Proverbs 18:12 says,

 Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, But humility goes before honor.

 1 Peter 5:5 says,

You younger men, likewise, be subject to your elders; and all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for Elohim is opposed to the proud, but gives grace [the desire and enablement to do His will] to the humble.

Proverbs 3:16 says of the one who also finds wisdom and understanding,

Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor.

The return for walking in wisdom, understanding, humility, and the Fear of YHVH are riches, honor and life.  May we put it into practice every day, as the opportunities arise, so that we show our love to our heavenly Father and His Son and receive all that They intend for us.
