Happy Preparation Day for the weekly Shabbat!!!! May it be filled with the presence of our King!!
We will continue today with the thought we began yesterday about “making known His deeds”. There are many verses that confirm our responsibility to tell of His mighty [powerful] ways. This would be one of the purposes that we are to be filled with the Spirit of knowledge.
In Isaiah 4 we read about the preparation of the remnant. In Isaiah 5 we read a parable, or some call it an allegory, of the vineyard. We would do well to understand it so that we have the knowledge we need to be what YHVH has created us to be.
Isaiah 5:12-13 it says;
“12 Their banquets are accompanied by lyre and harp, by tambourine and flute, and by wine; but they do not pay attention to the deeds of YHVH, nor do they consider the work of His hands.
13 Therefore My people go into exile for their lack of knowledge; and their honorable men are famished, and their multitude is parched with thirst. [Exile, hunger and thirst are equated to one who does not obey the Torah/Word.]
As we move along in the book of Isaiah we see that the remnant expresses thanksgiving. Watch the wording Isaiah uses for the actions of the remnant. Then let’s ask ourselves, “Would we be considered a part of the remnant by the way that we live our lives?”
Isaiah 12:1-6 says;
“1 Then you will say on that day,
“I will give thanks to You, O YHVH;
For although You were angry with me,
Your anger is turned away,
And You comfort me.
2 “Behold, Elohim is my salvation,
I will trust and not be afraid;
For YHVH Elohim is my strength [power] and song,
And He has become my salvation.”
3 Therefore you will joyously draw water [Remember the water theme]
From the springs of salvation.
4 And in that day you will say,
“Give thanks to YHVH, call on His name.
Make known His deeds among the peoples;
Make them remember that His name is exalted.”
5 Praise YHVH in song, for He has done excellent things;
Let this be known throughout the earth.
6 Cry aloud and shout for joy, O inhabitant of Zion,
For great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.”
A key to being the remnant that doesn’t stay in exile is that we make known His deeds to those we are around. But before we can do that we must know His Word as IT tells us of His mighty deeds; then we must RECOGNIZE Him doing the same in our lives and testify to it. If we go about our everyday life and don’t pay attention to how intricately involved He really is and see the wonderful connections that prove He is all over our situations, we then end up being silent in proclaiming His mighty deeds in our own personal lives.
Let’s RISE UP REMNANT AND RECOGNIZE HIS MIGHTY DEEDS AND THEM KNOWN TO THE PEOPLES.
Have a blessed and shalom filled day!!!
