Knowledge

Happy Preparation Day for the weekly Shabbat!!!!  May it be filled with the presence of our King as we prepare to enter into Shabbat and worship of Him!!

To know and understand the Word, both living (Yeshua) and written (Scriptures) will guide us into all truth and will keep us from accepting humanistic lies of the enemy.  When we fill our hearts and minds with our Creator’s Word then we will have His thoughts and knowledge of how He thinks and desires for His people to behave.  As we do this our mouths will also proclaim it. What we put in is what will pour out.  Bitter water and sweet water should not flow from the same vessel.  The Father, by His Spirit, helps to transform us into the vessels of honor He desires.  The Proverbs are full of knowledge concerning this subject that can aid us in our walk.  We will contrast a few of those verses today.

Proverbs 11:9 says,  “With his mouth the godless man destroys his neighbor, but through knowledge the righteous will be delivered.” The godless lure the neighbor into believing lies that will destroy him, but through true knowledge the righteous are delivered because they accurately discern that which is not true of Elohim.

Proverbs 13:3 says, “The one who guards his mouth preserves his life; the one who opens wide his lips comes to ruin.”

Proverbs 16:28 says, “A perverse man spreads strife [with his mouth], and a slanderer separates intimate friends.”

Proverbs 10:31-32 says, “31 The mouth of the righteous flows with wisdom, but the perverted tongue will be cut out. 32 The lips of the righteous bring forth what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked what is perverted.”

Proverbs 21:23 says, “He who guards his mouth and his tongue, guards his soul from troubles.”

As we receive the Spirit of Knowledge concerning this subject today, may we be able to say to our Heavenly Father, “May the words of our mouths and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable in Your sight O Yah!!” (Psalm 19:14)

Have a blessed and shalom filled preparation day!!!
