Happy Preparation Day for the weekly Shabbat!!!!  May it be filled with the presence of our King as we prepare to enter into Shabbat and worship of Him!!

We’ve shared before about knowing Yah and being known by Yah.  Today we will see how our heavenly Father spoke face to face with Moses and how that is relevant for us today.

Deuteronomy 34:9-12

9   Now Joshua the son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him; and the sons of Israel listened [obeyed; took his counselto him and did as YHVH had commanded Moses.

10 Since that time no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom YHVH knew face to face,

11 for all the signs and wonders which YHVH sent him to perform in the land of Egypt against Pharaoh, all his servants, and all his land,

12 and for all the mighty power and for all the great terror which Moses performed in the sight of all Israel.

Exodus 33:9-11 says,

9   Whenever Moses entered the tent, the pillar of cloud would descend and stand at the entrance of the tent; and YHVH would speak with Moses.

10 When all the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the entrance of the tent, all the people would arise and worship, each at the entrance of his tent.

11 Thus YHVH used to speak to Moses face to face, just as a man speaks to his friend. When Moses returned to the camp, his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, would not depart from the tent.

 Numbers 12:6-8 says,

6 He said, “Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, YHVH, shall make Myself known to him in a vision. I shall speak with him in a dream.
7 “Not so, with My servant Moses, he is faithful in all My household;
8  With him I speak mouth to mouth
[Face to Face], even openly, and not in dark sayings, and he beholds the form of YHVH. Why then were you not afraid to speak against My servant, against Moses?”

When we enter into covenant through the blood of Yeshua, every word spoken in Scripture is for us.  Because YHVH knew Moses, meaning He had an intimate relationship with him, Moses received the Words of life face to face on Mt. Sinai.  Those Words teach a redeemed people how to live free from the bondages of sin that separate us from our Creator.  What does that mean for us today?  When we put our face in THE Book of Life, the Holy Scriptures, we, too, are speaking face to face with our Heavenly Father.  When we DO those words we show that we know Him and in turn we will be known by Him.

Have a blessed and shalom filled preparation day!!!
