We’ve quoted verse 16 many times in context with one who keeps falling into sin, though principally we know we are forgiven completely when we repent and turn away from the sin we’ve committed (1 John 1:9), but in context with verse 15 and the rest of 16, this verse is talking about one who falls into affliction or adversity or persecution.

Paul knew his congregation and to what they could relate; therefore he wrote to them from their understanding in order to shift their perspective and motivation to gain knowledge. It should not be for carnal worldly achievements that one needs to pursue after knowledge, but for discovering that which is found in Yeshua.

Whether it’s a physical enemy, spiritual enemy or an addiction to anything that we’re fighting as an enemy to our soul, we do not have the power on our own to conquer it; but if we belong to the family of YHVH through the blood of Yeshua then we have THE POWER SOURCE to accomplish the deliverance and come to full FREEDOM!!

We are to take our stand with one another in order to help bear one another’s burdens. This is not just emotionally, but practically, physically, spiritually and financially.

If you keep reading the following verses in this chapter it becomes very clear that Isaiah is speaking forward about Yeshua and His response to His Father while on this earth, which is the pattern for us. If we have an ear to hear and listen to the counsel of the Almighty
15th September 2025: Our Daily deLIGHT~2nd Day-Understanding
If we would walk in understanding and keep in the forefront of our minds that He has His eye on us, we could walk in a peace that He’s “got us” in our going out and our coming in. In addition to this, if we’ll be keenly aware of these truths it would also convict us before committing sin for we would remember that He SEES it all.

When this is executed by wisdom, the children will be able to stand up against anything because they have been raised with godly principles and not as fools.
