The book of Habakkuk, like Zephaniah, is only three chapters long, but there is a lot packed into these three chapters. I highly recommend reading through this short prophetic book. You will discover many parallels to what is going on in our world today.

Psalm 78:1-4 says, “1 Listen, O my people, to my instruction [The definition for Torah is teachings and instructions; therefore the Torah is what we listen to.]; incline your ears to the words of my mouth.

When we grasp this understanding many of the verses that seem difficult will begin to make sense. When we don’t understand idiomatic or equivalent expressions in the Bible we will arrive at wrong conclusions. Both Jew and Gentile have to be grafted into Yeshua and have a circumcision of the heart.]

The phrase “He’s dying to give it to us!!” couldn’t be more true of our Messiah, because He literally died to bring us back into the covenant that we broke through our lack of heeding counsel…this led us into complete rebellion and disobedience. However, the reverse is true when we do heed the counsel of the Word…we inherit ALL that has been promised to us with blessing on top of that.]

It is once again confirmed why we are to be in complete unity, in order to glorify our Messiah and His Father. May the Spirit of Understanding be imparted to the remnant of Israel!!!

As the verses above state, we are not to falter in our fights, we are to help rescue others in their battles, and there is a recompense for the one who doesn’t help someone else overcome.
9th August 2024: Our Daily deLIGHT~6th Day-Knowledge
We will continue today with the thought we began yesterday about “making known His deeds”. There are many verses that confirm our responsibility to tell of His mighty [powerful] ways. This would be one of the purposes that we are to be filled with the Spirit of knowledge.
