17 Show me a sign for good [Tov], that those who hate me may see it and be ashamed, because You, O YHVH, have helped me and comforted me.

Did you happen to notice that the Scripture mentions both a male, Simeon, and a female prophetess, Anna, being used by the Holy Spirit to proclaim that the Messiah has come for the redemption of Israel and the Gentiles? Another pattern that both male and female were used by the Spirit for the blessings and announcement of Yeshua’s coming.

There are times in our lives that counsel is a matter of life and death. It may not be death in the natural…it could be a spiritual death. Either one is devastating to our lives.

As we often hear in messages, the easiest person to deceive is ourselves. That’s why being connected to a strong community will give us accountability and keep us on track. We often end up on the fringe when we are not diligent in the Word and prayer, as well as having strong, healthy fellowship with one another.
