Spirit of YHVH
Most are very familiar with the verses below, but we can never be reminded enough about the qualities that are to be in the one that the Spirit of YHVH lives within. We are told in John 15:5 He is the vine and we are the branches and those branches are to bear fruit; but not just any fruit GOOD/TOV fruit. He is the GOOD/TOV tree; therefore, if we abide in Him we will bear the GOOD/TOV fruit listed below and that is the evidence of the Spirit dwelling in us. If we lack these qualities, we can ask of the Spirit to prune away the branches that are bad so that nothing hinders the GOOD/TOV fruit that desires to come forth from the GOOD/TOV tree…Yeshua!!
Galatians 5:22-25 says
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
24 Now those who belong to Messiah Yeshua have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.
Matthew 7:16-20 says,
15 Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
16 You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they?
17 So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.
18 A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit.
19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
20 So then, you will know them by their fruits.
James 3:17 says, “But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy.”
May we allow the ultimate farmer, the Spirit of YHVH, to examine our lives and do the perfect work in our hearts so that we will bear beautiful fruit in His garden!!
