Happy Preparation Day for the weekly Shabbat!!!! May it be filled with the presence of our King as we prepare to enter into Shabbat and worship of Him!!
How do our lives “smell” to our Creator and Heavenly Father? What aroma is wafting from us? When we walk in the Spirit of Knowledge concerning Him and His ways, we become a sweet smelling aroma to Him. As we lay our fleshly carnal ways on the altar and allow the Word to burn it up, the incense of a life given to Yeshua is mixed with the burning flesh and it becomes sweet as it ascends to the throne. Our un-repented disobedience is a stench in His nostrils. No greater joy does He have than to see His children walking in the knowledge of the truth. May we examine ourselves today as we prepare to go into the Sabbath and ask the Spirit of Knowledge to reveal that which needs to be burned up so that we can come into His presence as a sweet smelling aroma.
2 Corinthians 2:14-17 says,
14 But thanks be to Elohim, who always leads us in triumph in Messiah, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.
15 For we are a fragrance of Messiah to Elohim among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing;
16 to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life. And who is adequate for these things?
17 For we are not like many, peddling the word of Elohim, but as from sincerity, but as from Elohim, we speak in Messiah in the sight of Elohim.
Song of Solomon 1:3-4 says,
3 “Your oils have a pleasing fragrance, Your name is like purified oil; Therefore the maidens love you.
4 “Draw me after you and let us run together! The king has brought me into his chambers.” “We will rejoice in you and be glad; We will extol your love more than wine. Rightly do they love you.”
Ezekiel 20:41-42 says,
41 As a soothing aroma I will accept you when I bring you out from the peoples and gather you from the lands where you are scattered; and I will prove Myself holy among you in the sight of the nations.
42 And you will know that I am YHVH, when I bring you into the land of Israel, into the land which I swore to give to your forefathers.
Psalm 45:6-8 says,
6 Your throne, O Elohim, is forever and ever; a scepter of uprightness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
7 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore Elohim, Your Elohim, has anointed You with the oil of joy above Your fellows.
8 All Your garments are fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia; out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made You glad.
May our lives be a sweet smelling aroma to Yah and to others as we walk in the true knowledge of who He is!!
