Wisdom

During this time we’re in it’s important to maintain our JOY!! Though we understand there is a difference between joy and happiness, I have to admit that it makes me happy when I think about the concept of joy and in my mind they often go hand in hand.  We can have joy without happiness when we allow the truth to dictate our emotions, but usually when we’re happy we automatically have joy.

Joy is one of the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22).  A key to having that fruit producing in our lives is to find wisdom and gain understanding.  The Seven Spirits of YHVH and the Fruit of the Spirit are inseparable.

Proverbs 3:13-15 says, “13. How blessed is the man who finds wisdom and the man who gains understanding. 14. For her profit is better than the profit of silver and her gain better than fine gold. 15. She is more precious than jewels; and nothing you desire compares with her.”

The word blessed in this verse is the Hebrew word Asher, Strong’s number 835.  It means Happy, Blessed.  So it can just as easily say, “How HAPPY is the man who finds wisdom and the man who gains understanding.” According to the Wisdom of Solomon wisdom and understanding is invaluable!!  A price can’t be put on it!!  We’ve been touching along the way in these Daily deLIGHTS that the Seven Spirits of YHVH are found in the patterns and words of Scripture.  They will only fill us and make us happy when we actually obey what it says with joy and not begrudgingly.

This is the key to being genuinely filled with joy and happiness…receive the Seven Spirits of YHVH!!  Let’s not stop short of all seven being implemented in our lives!!
