Wisdom

All wisdom comes from the Father above!! Yeshua comes from the Father as well.  It was prophesied of Him that He would come and act wisely.  When we receive Yeshua as Messiah, He becomes our king and defender to execute justice and righteousness on behalf of His people.  He is the personification of wisdom, therefore, when we are in Him we have access to this same wisdom.  Through His wisdom He gathers His flock that has been scattered.  He uses His people to accomplish this. This is great news for the people of Elohim!!  As we read the prophesy below concerning Yeshua and then the manifestation of this prophesy in the Apostolic Scriptures, may it build our faith to trust that the rest will be followed through and completed and we will be with Him for eternity.

Jeremiah 23:1-8 says,

1 “Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of My pasture!” declares YHVH.

2 Therefore thus says YHVH Elohim of Israel concerning the shepherds who are tending My people: “You have scattered My flock and driven them away, and have not attended to them; behold, I am about to attend to you for the evil of your deeds,” declares YHVH.

3 “Then I Myself will gather the remnant of My flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and bring them back to their pasture, and they will be fruitful and multiply.

I will also raise up shepherds over them and they will tend them; and they will not be afraid any longer, nor be terrified, nor will any be missing,” declares YHVH.

5 “Behold, the days are coming,” declares YHVH, “When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch; and He will reign as king and act wisely and do justice and righteousness in the land.

6 “In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely; and this is His name by which He will be called, ‘YHVH our righteousness.’

7 “Therefore behold, the days are coming,” declares YHVH, “when they will no longer say, ‘As YHVH lives, who brought up the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt,’

8 but, ‘As YHVH lives, who brought up and led back the descendants of the household of Israel from the north land and from all the countries where I had driven them.’ Then they will live on their own soil.”

 Luke 1:30-33 says,

30 The angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favor with Elohim.

31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Yeshua [Salvation].

32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and YHVH Elohim will give Him the throne of His father David;

33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end.”

Matthew 28:18-20 says,

18 And Yeshua came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

19 Go [The tense of this verb would actually be better rendered to say, “As you’re going about your way make disciples…”] therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name [not in the titles] of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit [In the name

Yeshua.  In the book of Acts you will see the pattern of how this is done multiple times.],

20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

The Spirit of Wisdom, which comes from being a disciple of Yeshua, will show us how to make more disciples as we come in contact with those within our influence.  Our obedience to the commandments teaches louder than our words.  As “we’re going” to the feast, keeping His Shabbat, baptizing in Yeshua’s name, eating clean, taking care of the needy, showing hospitality, etc…He is with us and leading us to lead others so that they, too, may be gathered and not scattered.  “How lovely on the mountain are the feet of them who bring good news…” Isaiah 52:7. The word feet here has the connotation of pilgrimage feast and doing what we’re supposed to do…so as “we’re going” in the direction of obedience to His ways, we’re bringing good [Tov] news!!!

Have a blessed and shalom filled day!!
