As most of us know, David was a valiant warrior, worshipper and shepherd; but as we read through the Psalms that he wrote it is evident that he understood that all of his abilities to have victory, overcome and accomplish anything came from the Father’s strength and power.  If we look to our own strength or power to accomplish anything, we usually end up in pride.  If we will always remember that the very breath we breathe was given to us by our Creator, therefore there is nothing that we ever do for good that is by our own strength, but by the enabling power of the Holy Spirit. Today will read verses that David wrote and one that Asaph wrote. We will discover that they both had the same mindset and truth about the heavenly Father.

Psalm 77:11-15 (A Psalm of Asaph) says,

11 I shall remember the deeds of YHVH; surely I will remember Your wonders of old.
12 I will meditate on all Your work and muse on Your deeds.
13 Your way, O Elohim, is holy; what Elohim is great like our Elohim?
14 You are the Elohim who works wonders; You have made known Your strength among the peoples.
15 You have by Your power redeemed Your people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

 Psalm 106:8 says,

Nevertheless He saved them for the sake of His name, that He might make His power known.

Psalm 71:19-21 says,

19.  For Your righteousness, O Elohim, reaches to the heavens, You who have done great things; O Elohim, who is like You?

20. You who have shown me many troubles and distresses will revive me again, and will bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
21. May You increase my greatness and turn to comfort me.

 Psalm 86:8-10

8 There is no one like You among the godsO YHVHnor are there any works like Yours.

9  All nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O YHVH, and they shall glorify Your name.

10 For You are great and do wondrous deeds; You alone are Elohim.

Whatever we may face today, may we yield and receive the Spirit of Strength and Power from the One who alone allows us to accomplish and overcome!!

Have a blessed and shalom filled day!!
