24th May 2023: Our Daily deLIGHT~4th Day-Spirit of YHVH

Spirit of YHVH
We have reached the middle of the week. The day when the greater light and the lesser light and the stars were made for signs and times!! By way of reminder, the concept of the branches of the menorah connecting to the seven days of creation and the Seven Spirits of YHVH, then this fourth branch, the Spirit of YHVH is what fuels the rest of the lamp. So signs and times of the lights created on the fourth day and the Holy Spirit that fuels the other Spirits, have a connection. It is by the Holy Spirit that we are drawn to His appointed times as well as given the ability to discern the signs of the times that we are in.
In 1 Corinthians 12:7-13 it says, “7. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by the same Spirit, 9. to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10. to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in various tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. 11. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, who apportions them to each one as He determines.12. The body is a unit, though it is comprised of many parts. And although its parts are many, they all form one body. So it is with Messiah. 13. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free, and we were all given one Spirit to drink.”
Can you visualize the concept of the menorah in these verses? It is the Spirit of YHVH that is fueling the giftings of the Spirit in the body of Messiah, just as the center shaft of the menorah fuels the other branches. These gifts of the Spirit are necessary for us if we’re going to discern the signs of the times and be used for the Body of Messiah so that we will be healthy spirit, soul and body!! A healthy bride is what the Father is going to present to His Son; so He gives us the Gifts of the Spirit to prepare us for His coming.
The following are the Gifts of the Spirit listed in these few verses:
- Message of Wisdom
- Message of Knowledge
- Gift of Faith
- Gift of Healing
- Gift of Miracles
- Gift of Prophecy
- Distinguishing between spirits [Discernment…another word for Understanding]
- Speaking in Tongues
- Interpretation of Tongues
What is the best gift? The one needed at the time. May we be filled and stay filled with the Spirit of YHVH in order to hear what the Spirit is saying to His congregation!!
