22nd March 2020: Our Daily deLIGHT~1st Day-Wisdom
Shalom Mishpocha (Family),
The series we’re doing is called “Our Daily deLIGHT”. The focus will come from the concept that we’ve used for years from The Creation Gospel concerning the Seven Spirits of YHVH connected to the seven days of the week coming from Isaiah 11:1-2. As we continue reading in Isaiah 11 verse three it says, “And He will delight in the fear of YHVH and He will not judge by what His eyes see, nor make a decision by what His ears hear;” Within the word delight we immediately saw the word LIGHT. Thus the reason we capitalized and emphasized that part of the word in the title of the series.
Dr. Hollisa Alewine uses a thematic connection for the seven days of creation to the seven branched menorah that the Father gave to Moses to light up the tabernacle. You may find her life’s work at http://www.thecreationgospel.com/. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 3:16, 6:19; 2 Corinthians 6:16), therefore we should have the seven Spirits functioning in our lives in order for us to be a light to the nations…a living menorah if you will.
In this thematic connection, each day has one of the Spirits attached to it; so what we desire to do is send out a daily email called “Our Daily deLIGHT” that will have the Spirit for the day, verses to meditate on and a focus for us to work on as a community. If the patterns hold true, there will be many times that it will be exactly what we need for that day.
We hope that it will prove to be a source of encouragement to you!! With that said we will start with the Spirit of Wisdom for today…
The Hebrew word for wisdom is Chokmah, Strong’s number 2451. The first mention of this word being used in our Scriptures is in Exodus 28:3. It says, “You shall speak to all the skillful persons whom I have endowed with the Spirit of WISDOM, that they make Aaron’s garments to consecrate him, that he may minister as priest to Me.”
I find it quite interesting that YHVH is saying that it takes a spirit of wisdom to make holy garments for His chosen vessel. Our Creator in His infinite wisdom covered us in garments after the fall of man in the garden in order to make a way to bring us back into His presence. If we allow the Spirit to “endow us with His wisdom” we will know how to accomplish each day what He has brought to us. His wisdom is found in His Word. Reading it with the intent to obey opens the avenue for wisdom to come.
Proverbs 19:20; “Listen to advice and accept discipline, and at the end you will be counted among the wise.”
This verse BLEW me away!!! Ecclesiastes 2:26; “To the person who pleases Him, Elohim gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases Elohim.”
May we receive Our Daily deLIGHT and allow the Father to endow us with the Spirit of Wisdom as we continue through the upcoming week.
Shalom & Blessings,
