Tony received Yeshua as his Savior in 1980 at the University of Illinois while working on his BS degree in chemistry. Soon after, he began to lead small group and congregational worship. In 1984 Tony met his future bride, Tina. In 1987 they traveled to Kansas where Tony pursued an MS degree in chemistry. From 1987 - 1997 Tony and Tina helped plant three Vineyard Christian Fellowship congregations. From 1997 - 1999, he served as a Worship Pastor and lay elder at Steele Creek Church of Charlotte in Charlotte, NC. At that time, Adonai graciously opened Tonys eyes to His restoration through the Messianic movement. Since then, Tony, Tina and their four children have developed a strong foundation for their faith in Yeshua by studying the Torah.
Currently, Tony and his family live in Ringgold, GA from where they travel to and fro teaching the Hebraic roots of the faith. Additionally, Tony writes Messianic congregational songs that celebrate the Torah.
Tony's website, The Restoration of Torah features numerous articles, audio lessons and a weekly self-study commentary on the Parashat HaShavuah (Weekly Torah Portion) that emphasizes the thematic study of the Scriptures.
Said Tony, "The Gospel of Luke (Luke 24:13-32) records that while traveling to the city of Emmaus, Yeshua began teaching two disciples the things recorded in Moses and the prophets concerning Himself and His ministry. When you stop and think about it, Moses never even mentioned the word Messiah. So, where is Yeshua in the Torah? Until 1999, I couldn't answer that question very well, mainly because the foundation of my faith was totally based on the New Covenant Scriptures. The books of Moses seemed to be a big mystery. Since that time, Adonai has given me a greater understanding of the Torah. I've made the Torah the foundation of my faith, upon which the remainder of the Tanakh (Old Testament) and the Brit Chadashah rest. It is my desire to share what Adonai has shown me with others who want to make the Torah the foundation for their faith. The sages of Israel used a hermeneutic (scripture interpretation) technique called thematic analysis to study the Scriptures. Following their pattern, I hope to show you the many prophetic pictures of Yeshua as told by Moses and the prophets of Israel. One of the main focal points of my teachings is to clearly demonstrate that the resurrection of the Messiah in three days is the most prophesied event in the entire Tanakh!"
